What if I told you that there is a new, small portable printer that you can carry around with you to print pictures from your phone? That you could use this printer at special events, or even for fun? The printer is called the HP Sprocket Portable Photo Printer and it’s something that both you and children can enjoy.
Rewind to five years ago. I was planning my wedding, and making a list of all the things I wanted at my wedding. A photo booth was high on the list. My husband was a little hesitant about it, mostly because it’s pricey to rent a photo booth. But I was adamant, and we ended up with the photo booth. The guests had a great time, taking pictures with props, and it was a fun momento for them to take home. And as for me, I had a fun scrapbook of my husband, me, and my guests.
A couple of months ago, I was given the opportunity to take a sneak peak of the HP Sprocket. It’s basically a small portable printer that prints 2×3″ photos. It doesn’t require ink – and if it had been around 5 years ago, I would have saved a lot of money! You can read more by clicking on the link above, but I think it’s great for different events like birthday parties and special events. You can either take a picture with your phone, or use a picture on your camera roll, Facebook, Instagram or Flickr, and add fun frames, texts, and/or stickers to it. It’s definitely something I’d be able to use.
And speaking of special events, I thought I’d share an update regarding my new HP 3700 Series Printer! You may remember that I brought one home a couple of months ago. I’ve definitely put it to good use, and already saved money for my son’s birthday party later this month. Every year, I usually order my son’s birthday party invitations through etsy. Between ordering the invitation and printing the invitations at a copy center, it usually adds up.
This year, I decided to use the FREE HP Photo Creations Software and design my son’s birthday party invitation. From there, I was able to electronically send many of his invitations as well as print out the invitations using the HP printer. It was extremely easy, and I loved how they turned out. Below is his birthday party invitation, with certain information redacted 🙂 I will no doubt be using it again in the future.
I enjoyed using my new HP Printer as well as the HP Photo Creations Software to create my son’s birthday party invitation.
