If you’re a fan of superheroes, you’ll want to mark March 8, 2019 off on your calendar. That’s the day Captain Marvel will be released at a theater near you! Production on Captain Marvel has begun and based on what I’ve read so far, it sounds like it’s going to be a great one. Plus it’s about a strong female, which I’m all for!

So who is Captain Marvel? Her real name is Carol Danvers and she’s portrayed by Brie Larson (from the movies Room and Kong: Skull Island). She brings her superpowers to the forefront when Earth becomes involved in a war between two alien races. And it takes place in the 1990s, which is a decade I’m well familiar with 🙂 Other actors who make an appearance include Samuel L. Jackson, Djimon Hounsou, and Clark Gregg, plus several others! I’m loving the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, so this is a movie I definitely want to see!
