Family Movie Night – Disney’s DUMBO

Are you looking for family move night ideas?  Get your DVD players and electronics ready.  On June 25, 2019, Disney’s DUMBO will not only be released on Digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and Movies Anywhere, but it will also include special bonus features!  I was provided with a copy of DUMBO, but as always, all opinions are my own.  Keep reading to find out more about the bonus features as well as snack ideas inspired by DUMBO!

Family Movie Night – Disney’s DUMBO

Directed by Tim Burton, and starring long-time, recognizable actors like Danny DeVito, Michael Keaton, and Colin Farrell, DUMBO is a live action remake of the 1941 animated film.  I have to admit that I was initially reluctant to see the remake.  While DUMBO is a favorite ride of mine at Disneyland, the animated film always made me sad.  However, my family and I purchased tickets to see it in the movie theater and we all enjoyed it, including my 6 year old son.  Tim Burton did a wonderful job remaining true to the original film, but added his own unique vision to the remake.  And the cast did a great job portraying their characters, especially Nico Parker and Finley Hobbins, the children of Colin’s Farrell’s character who try to take DUMBO under their wing.

DUMBO is definitely worth it to see on the big screen at the movie theater, but starting June 25, 2019, families can watch it at home.  See below for the new bonus features as well as snack ideas for a family movie night!
