For those who watch and love the Mandalorian on Disney Plus, you may wonder when, if ever, you’ll get to see Baby Yoda in person at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland or Walt Disney World. Baby Yoda, for those who don’t know, is the breakout hit character on the new Star Wars series streaming on Disney Plus. Fans dubbed him “Baby Yoda” because he looks like… well, a baby Yoda. He isn’t actually Yoda, however, since we meet baby Yoda after the events of Return of the Jedi. Instead, he is of the same mysterious species of unknown origin. We don’t even know if Baby Yoda is a blood relative of Yoda. What we do know is that he’s super cute and we’d love to get a Baby Yoda at Star Wars Land. Keep reading to find out some of his favorite locations if had the chance to visit Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Disney World!
“Baby Yoda” Goes to Batuu
Back to the original question about Baby Yoda visiting Galaxy’s Edge. What would he do there? He doesn’t meet the height requirement for either of the two attractions in the Star Wars-themed land. If Baby Yoda was allowed to wander the streets of Black Spire, there are some things we think a Baby Yoda Star Wars Land character might be drawn to.
Black Spire Marketplace
A big chunk of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is an outdoor marketplace called Black Spire. There are all kinds of local merchants selling everything from antiquities to regional attire. As a 50-year-old infant who can’t ride the thrilling attractions in the area, a Baby Yoda Star Wars Land character would most certainly gravitate to the toy store, the “pet” store, and the Droid Depot.
Toydarian Toymaker
This cute little toy shop is not your average Disneyland souvenir stand. The toys in this store are crafted by a Toydarian who creates toys for children on Batuu based on their legends and heroes. Surely Baby Yoda would love to play and get inspired here.
Creature Stall
At the Creature Stall, Baby Yoda would watch all the animals and probably play with them using some of his Force capabilities.
Droid Depot
Another stop Baby Yoda might is the Droid Depot. The 50-year-old infant may enjoy building his very own droid and giving it a personality.
What Would “Baby Yoda” Eat on Batuu?
Kat Saka’s Kettle
The Outpost Mix on Batuu would likely be a favorite stop for Baby Yoda as he wanders through the corridors of the Black Spire Marketplace.
Bright Suns Youngling Breakfast
At Docking Bay 7, a Baby Yoda Star Wars character would surely prefer the Bright Suns Youngling Breakfast, or the Surabat Shrimp and Noodle Salad. Yeah, I’m pretty Surabat that. 🙂
Where Would “Baby Yoda” Rest in Galaxy’s Edge?
There is no doubt where you would find a Baby Yoda Star Wars Land character taking a break. Because like the Force, Batuu has a light side and a dark side. The Resistance encampment is on one end and the First Order occupies the other. Baby Yoda would feel most comfortable in the Resistance Forest, but he could hold his own if he had to venture out toward the other side of the outpost.
