Disneyland has grown over the last couple of decades in some pretty amazing ways. In order to experience it as much as possible, the FASTPASS system was born to really help you be in two places at once. The premise is that while you are having fun in one place, your spot is being held in line at another. FASTPASS is available at most of the popular attractions at Disneyland. There is also a system called MaxPass that takes it even further. Here is a list of all the Disneyland FASTPASS attractions at the resort as well as where to get them and how to use MaxPass to your advantage!

Fastpass Attractions at Disneyland
Disneyland has 11 attractions that use FASTPASS. Unlike Walt Disney World, Disneyland FASTPASS attractions can not be selected in advance. You must get your FASTPASS from a specific FASTPASS distribution location near the attraction entrance. The FASTPASS is a tangible thing in that it is transferred to your park pass to be scanned when you enter the FASTPASS queue. Here are the Disneyland FASTPASS attractions and their FASTPASS kiosk locations.
Frontierland and Critter Country
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad has FASTPASS distribution on the right-hand side of the entrance.
Splash Mountain has FASTPASS distribution across from the Explorer Canoes, halfway around the mountain between the main entrance that borders New Orleans Square and the attraction exit.
Fantasmic!, the nighttime spectacular also has a FASTPASS distribution near the dock for the Mark Twain.
Adventureland and New Orleans Square
Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye has a FASTPASS distribution location under the overhead queue for the Jungle Cruise.
The Haunted Mansion has FASTPASS kiosks to the entrances right hand side near the garden in front of the New Orleans Square Station.
Fantasyland and Toontown
Matterhorn Bobsleds has FASTPASS distribution kiosks near Edelweiss Snacks and the covered eating area there.
It’s a Small World also has FASTPASS now; but these kiosks are also located near the Matterhorn Bobsleds.
Roger Rabbit’s Car-Toon Spin FASTPASS distribution kiosks are right in front of the attraction on the right.
Tomorrowland
Guests can obtain FASTPASSES for three attractions in Tomorrowland: Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, and Star Tours. All three attractions used to have separate FASTPASS distribution kiosks but now they are consolidated into one location, near the entrance to Tomorrowland Theatre.
How to Use MaxPass
I highly recommend MaxPass for trips to Disneyland. MaxPass is a $15 charge per person to use, but it grants unlimited use of the app. You can grab FASTPASSES on your mobile device wherever you are in the park. That means you don’t have to go all the way to an attraction before getting a return time. You can also use it in both parks provided you have a Park Hopper pass. Disney’s California Adventure park offers FASTPASS at Goofy’s Sky School, Grizzly River Run, Soarin’ Around the World, Guardians of the Galaxy, Radiator Springs Racers, The Incredicoaster, and World of Color.
In addition to easier access to more FASTPASSes, MaxPass includes PhotoPass for all picture opportunities. You can also get MaxPass as part of your ticket purchase. For a comprehensive review of MaxPass, click on this article written by my friend Leslie at Trips With Tykes.

We used MaxPass on our trip to Disneyland in May 2018, and it was a game-changer. None of us likes waiting in line, and it reduced our wait times considerably, plus we got all the photos taken throughout the park, which was awesome.
Considering how much a park entry ticket costs, $15 more for these things seems like a bargain to me.
