Upside Down Magic Movie Review (and Giveaway)
Upside Down Magic follows 13 year old Nory and her best friend Reina as they try to embrace their magical powers at Sage Academy, a magic school. However, Nory, who can turn into a hybrid of animals, quickly discovers that her type of powers are not appreciated by the powers-that-be at Sage Academy. As a result, she’s assigned to UDM (Upside Down Academy), with other kids who have unusual magical powers. In the meantime, Reina is feeling pressure to be the best in her class and tempted by Shadow Magic.
Is Upside Down Magic Kid Friendly?
Yes. The movie is rated PG and doesn’t have any bad language. Instead, characters use words like “weirdos” and “loser.” The movie also doesn’t have any sexual scenes. There really isn’t any violence; however, there are some scenes that may be scary for younger children. Especially in the form of Shadow Magic. It’s fun to see the kids use their magic, though, which includes the ability to talk to animals.

About Upside Down Magic
When 13-year-old Nory discovers she can flux into animals and best pal Reina can manipulate flames, they enter the Sage Academy for Magical Studies. But Nory’s wonky magic and tendency for turning into a “Dritten”—a half-kitten, half-dragon—lands her in a class for those with unconventional powers, and she and her classmates must prove that their upside-down magic beats right-side up!

I felt like I was invisible when I was a kid. I was the middle one. I grew to like it! So if I had any super powers I think that would be it. I could become invisible!
